Message I've posted several times about this issue, but I've narrowed it down to a predictable pattern and I think others may be able to offer insight. My 96 na has had very many things replaced and is throwing no codes. It runs fine when cool, and mostly fine when warm. But, if I park the car and come back to it when it's still warm, the throttle becomes boggy; the heavier my foot is on the throttle, the more it wants to bog down. If I slowly ease into the throttle, the car doesn't seem to have a problem moving, although a slight hesitation might occur especially right after engaging the clutch in any gear.

The hesitation typically comes right at 3k rpms, so I've replaced all fuel-related items (pump, fpc, filter, maf, ptu, cas, etc), although I have not replaced the injectors. I ohm tested them and they are all in spec.

At first I thought it was a coolant-related issue, but my temp doesn't surge when the car starts to change its attitude. My coolant level is full and I don't have any leaks.

Now my question is this: could an injector be going bad and not providing the efficient amount of fuel under certain load conditions? I.e. when I step on the throttle harder, is the cylinder filling up with too much fuel and I'm having to burn it off as I'm lightening my foot on the throttle? That's precisely how it feels.

Any constructive thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.

Cheers,
JBrobst
